Rest pads, locating pins
Rest pads are designed to absorb and transfer loads effectively. They act as support bases for components to rest on or to be transported along. Locating pins, also known as locating keys, are used to securely hold components in a specified position with precision and repeatable accuracy.
Rest pads and positioning feet
By applications where several rest pads are used, the support height can be reground. Rest pads can also be used as fixture feet. Other uses for rest pads are supporting rough and machined workpieces, stops and thrust pads in fixture and tool construction.
Positioning feet are used as supports, stops and thrust pads on fixtures and in general machine and equipment construction. The optimally support rough and machined workpieces.
