Nuts, screws, washers, securing elements

With 94 product families, this category is the largest in the standard parts system 07000. The product spectrum ranges from precisely fitting nuts to universal fastening elements such as hammer-head nuts, wing nuts and extension nuts.

While extension nuts are used as a connecting element for screws for T-slots and stud bolts, clamping washers and spring washers are locking elements for screw connections.

The various versions of hexagon nuts are available in the norelem range both with and without flange. The hexagon nuts are available in the following industry standards:

Wing nuts can be used easily without tools thanks to their flat extensions (the wings). At norelem you will find wing nuts made of various materials:

  • Steel
  • Stainless steel A2
  • Malleable iron

In addition to various types of screws such as socket head screws, shoulder screws, T-slot bolts and eye bolts, you can also find hammer-head screws here. Hammer-head screws ensure a particularly tight fit and serve as a universal fastening element. By turning into the profile slot, a hammer-head screw can also be retrofitted to existing systems.

T-slot nuts

T-slot nuts are standardised parts that can be used universally and are easy to replace. They are often used for fastening, positioning and connecting objects.

From twist-in slot nutsand T-slot nuts to nuts for T-slots to DIN 508 - norelem has a wide range of products.

Twist-in slot nuts can even be used in existing systems. A spring-loaded ball, which is present in some types of slot nuts, ensures that the slot nuts can be fixed in the desired position in the profile slot.

Thrust screws, ball-end thrust screws

Ball-end thrust screws are mainly used as clamping and support elements for workpiece clamping. While ball-end thrust screws without head with full ball are used for punctual pressure, thrust screws are particularly suitable for gentle clamping of axes or surface-treated parts.

The norelem range contains 16 product families and comprises thrust screws as well as ball-end thrust screws in various versions.

Grippers, base plates

Square, round, rectangular, hexagonal or adjustable - the norelem standard part system of grippers and base plates includes everything.

Grippers with soldered carbide serrated tips are suitable for installation in clamping arms, gripper systems and pendulum supports. This enables the transmission of maximum torques even with surface irregularities.

Thanks to their surface, the carbide base plates ensure easy positioning and can be used in various ways to clamp workpieces.

Grub screws

Grub screws are used when a high degree of precision is required.

Grub screws are used for clamping either directly or in conjunction with a thrust pad.

Grub screws with ball thrust point , on the other hand, are used to create a strong connection between two parts. This type of grub screw is often found in the automotive industry. Other grub screws are available in the DIN 551, DIN EN ISO 4027 and DIN 913 standards.

Torque grips, torque screws

Torque grips are often used in the aerospace industry, the electrical industry and the automotive industry. They are used to exert a constant force on a workpiece. To ensure that the torque is limited, torque grips trigger a type of over-engagement as soon as the desired torque is reached.

With torque screws , the final pressure can be set using the set screws in the head. As soon as it is reached, the grip runs free. A defined torque is thus guaranteed using the same principle as for torque grips.

Threaded inserts

Threaded inserts are used in metalworking, mechanical engineering and electronics. They are made from various materials. These include brass, steel or aluminium, for example. The norelem product family also includes various thread sizes. Some threaded inserts can be screwed in by hand, while others require a special installation tool and a cordless screwdriver.

Lifting points

Lifting points are used for secure and reliable fastening. Rotatable ring boltsare particularly practical, as they enable simple and flexible handling. Swivel ring bolts in sizes such as M12 or M16 offer a secure fastening option for loads and are also available as rotatable swivel ring bolts.

Shackles in various sizes allow for flexible use, while receiver bushes ensure secure fastening without damaging the lifting point. With the right lifting points, secure and reliable fastening can be guaranteed.

Crane hooks

Crane hooks are an important component in fastening and lifting technology. There are different types of crane hooks, such as bolt-on crane hooks, safety crane hooks and shortening hooks. In our range you will find

  • crane hooks,
  • safety crane hooks,
  • shortening hooks,
  • swivel hooks and
  • connecting links in grade 10.

Round sling hooks are also a common type of crane hook and are available in various sizes in grade 8. When selecting a crane hook, it is important to consider the respective requirements and to choose a crane hook of the appropriate grade.

Locking rings, shaft collars

Locking rings and shaft collars are important components in mechanics and can be used in many different ways. Stainless steel shaft collars , which are particularly robust and durable, are used in many applications. For

industrial use, there are locking rings and shaft collars in accordance with DIN 705, which fulfil high requirements regarding stability and reliability. Slitted shaft collars also offer secure fastening by ensuring a better hold thanks to their shape.
